Matthew has been focused on the fight against human trafficking for over the course of 35 years. His work has been taken place in over 40 countries, raising over US$50 million to support initiatives to combat human trafficking. In addition, he has trained over 150,000 corporate individuals have been trained in human trafficking, highlighting the importance of awareness and education on the issue. He has been the director of one of the largest UN anti-trafficking programs for 6 years. Matthew has done extensive field work in Nepal for 8 years, Bangladesh for 5 years, Thailand for 10 years, and Hong Kong for 11 years. Moreover, he has published 13 books on this topic, and has produced 4 films, two of which have won awards, further contributing to the fight against human trafficking.
